Journalite is up and running
I recently decided to create some journaling software, mostly because it seems like other things I've tried in the past are not simple enough.
It's been up and running for a few weeks now. I might be the only one who's actually using it. :-) But hopefully it will be useful to other people over time.
In addition to keeping things simple, one of the main goals of Journalite is to keep a personal journal and a public blog in one place. Blog's are a fun way to share a bit of your life with others. But a personal journal is different - more like a way to reflect a little deeper.
I've never been great at journaling, but lately it's been surprising to see how powerful a personal journal can be. In a way, I'm glad I didn't grow up writing too many entries - I've maybe averaged one a month, if that. But even that has been plenty to bring back all kinds of memories and see my life's journey from a different perspective.
If you're thinking about keeping a journal I hope you'll give Journalite a try. And let me know how it goes! Lot's of features I want to add, but it works well enough for now.
